  This is a very large vessel. I bet this Buffalo bowl will burn for upwards of 40 hours total.
  
  As for the clay, this is the introduction of Peppered Wheat. It's a native clay body, drilled not too far away from where I live, deep in the Flint Hills of Kansas. I've worked with this clay pretty extensively, this particular bowl ended up being a reject and the perfect candidate for a candle. Once all the wax is burned out, just pour boiling water into the bowl and wipe it clean.
